What does it take to be a graphic designer? Design is a complex art that involves many different skills and tools, but by breaking it down into four main topics, I will show how you can get your start in the design world. First I'll cover the impact of color. Color is so important because it will make your design or break it. There is so many colors which is one of the reason a graphic designer takes time by making sure the colors don't clash. One pet peeve I have is seeing a dark color font on a very busy background. I want to be able to read the font instantly without guessing. Next, I'll cover sketching your ideas. By the end, you'll have a better grasp of what graphic designers do and what you'll need to do to become a better one.
